Events Calendars

We are getting them updated - the goal is 20 or so every day till I am caught up.
Groups - if you want the extra exposure sign up for a free membership and add your events yourselves....

Working together for the betterment of our mutual communities is what we are all about here.

Anyway if all goes well we should be back on track by months end.

The Big Upgrade

We went through a major upgrade on our site and it has cause a few minor problems.
Hang in there cause we are working at fixing them.

We are going to be updating the events calendars just as soon as an upgrade error is repaired. We are just waiting on the developer to show us how to fix it and we'll be back in business. If all goes well this week I intend to get smoking on the data entry there....

A little more patience (mostly on my part - cause I just want to get this done!) and we will be back in full swing. I do know this, the upgrade has been a really good thing in a number of areas like the members forum!

All of the subscribers should start getting their papers this week - we have all of the data entry errors corrected - remember if you subscribe to the paper you also have a free membership at www.beltdrivebetty.com plus you have free classified ads that are yours to use. If you are only a free member (Rider member) Why not consider subscribing and help us fund our site - It's only $10.50 per year and it helps us to attract advertisers....

Stay safe out there and have a great week....

Data Entry Problems

Well gang, we have a few challenges here.

I have been going through all of the new subscribers that signed up at the bike shows and have discovered some data entry errors that have been causing a few people to not get their paper. I still have half of the list to go through. As we find and correct the errors we are extending out the subscriptions so that everyone gets what they paid for.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

The good news is that I am half way done! By tonight I should have everyone cleaned up.

If you subscribe to the paper I really want to encourage you to log in to the site at www.beltdrivebetty.com - if you can't remember your password just hit forgot password and then once you log in you can update your password to reflect one you'd like.

Open Roads Leather shop in West Edmonton Mall has a coupon under the new Rider's Save section of the site that you can download and print off - it's good for $25.00 off at their store!

Anyway, gotta run. I don't want anyone missing their papers or the great tools that are here!

Stay safe out there.

Busy as Beavers....

Both Ali and I have been busy like a pair of beavers building a dam...

Ali upgraded our site over night. The upgrade gives us enhanced security and more stable tools but she is already talking about the next upgrade and the next series of tools she wants to provide.

I don't know who is worse, Ali or myself....as hard as I work doing the data entry, building the paper every week etc....she works just as hard at making http://www.beltdrivebetty.com/ a phenominal resource.

I hope that you will take a few minutes to see all of her hard work and how she is making this vision I have had in my head become a reality. If you find the tools that we are providing and building at all beneficial to you I hope you will join our web site.
When you are there, stop into the forums and tell Ali how you feel about her efforts on behalf of Canadian riders and tourists coming to Canada.

Canada is our sand box and we want visitors from within our own country and those from other countries to see what makes ours a fun sand box to play in!

Come discover Canada by Motorcycle.....

Stay safe out there....

Finally Home

I finally made it home late Thursday. The flu is still kicking the crap out of me.
Anyway I begin tommorrow adding somewhere around 400 events to the calendars.
If anyone knows of a data entry clerk looking for work in Grande Prairie, I am desperate. In the mean time, if any of you has a few minutes and knows of an event that needs to be added - I'd appreciate the help....stay safe out there....

Vancouver Motorcycle Show

Last 10 days of the road trip....Red Deer was an OK show - weather kinda kicked us but hey this is January in Alberta!

Made it to Vancouver and am looking forward to meeting some of the riders I converse with via email!

Hope to see some of you - the weather is gorgeous here. I'm gonna try and sneak in a head clearing ride if I can find a bike to borrow.

Stay safe out there.
