Back Home
Made it home from the swap - had a great time with the gang from Bikers from Alberta - an msn group, was good to see so many friends.
If you haven't checked out our events calendars you really should - over 845 events confirmed and we haven't really even begun on competition events!
Our contests aren't receiving many entries in them - come on gang, don't you like winning stuff?
Any hoo....have a great day and stay safe out there.

Mother Nature can be an evil witch!
We here in the Grande Prairie region got up this morning to about a half inch of the white crap on the roads!
Yuck - I am heading to Red Deer for the Swap meet - go figure!
Where ever you are headed today I hope your roads are clear - stay safe out there!

The winds of change
Many things are shifting and changing here in the North Peace and that's a good thing.
New motorcycle businesses are looking at opening her in Grande Prairie, businesses that were not friendly to we riders before want to be now....yes the winds of change are a blowing here in the North Peace.
Ride safe out there - the debris on the roads is nasty right now....

I am awful
I am awful at keeping this blog up - my apologies - I have been busy.
Thanks to help from Drac in Lumby we have over 750 events in the 2008 calendars!
I got my second ride of the season in on Thursday - man does that feel good even if it is cold!
We have some great contests happening on www.beltdrivebetty.com and we have our annual riders and readers survey that we'd appreciate having as many as possible fill out.
Getting ready for Easter dinner and a ton of company so I'll sign off for now.
If you are already ridding - please stay hyper aware - there's a ton of debris and drivers who aren't used to seeing us out there....

First Ride
On Sunday I was suffering hugely from PMS and hubby was kind enough to take my bike across the 10' of ice in my driveway for me and off I went for a brain clearing ride.
What a goooood feeling. Man I am glad I don't live out east right now - them poor buggers are looking at a long time before they are dug out!
If you are already riding - be hyper aware out there - motorists are not used to seeing us out there yet - please ride like everyone is out to get you....

Sad news
It was sad to hear that Jeff Healy passed away at 41. His lengthy battle with cancer took him from his wife and 2 kids and all of us.
My heart goes out to his family. RIP Jeff - your short life brought so very much joy to so many.
