Mother Nature has messed up...

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">There must be something wrong with Mother Nature!</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">She gave us a fabulous weekend and when you consider on Monday we had 4 inches of the fluffy white stuff...see what I mean...somethings wrong but OH SO RIGHT!</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">My baby is getting a bath today - she sure needs and deserves it and then I am going for another wonderful ride.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Yesterday I rode out to Bezanson, TeePee Creek and Sexsmith with a group I have never ridden with before. One gent on a VMax was riding like a jackass and I was so impressed with the others I was riding with, Mark and Andrew chewed this guy a new one and told him he didn't deserve to hold a motorcycle license! He was told to leave the group and NEVER think about riding with us. He was also told if he was seen riding like that by any of us the he'd wished he hadn't been! Hooray!(Yes I also had a few choice words for this 40 something show off maniac, but I can't repeat them here)</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Like I said - I was pretty proud of these riders for being the real McCoy - they just love to ride and don't want jerks destroying it!</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">On another note, Grande Prairie is adopting a 91 decibel sound restriction - they are going to be targeting - YES motorcycles but also diesel trucks, so it might be a good time to learn some respect with that throttle hand...</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Oh and another thing being adopted here - a 45" restriction on headlights so all of those lift kits on the 4 x 4's around here are going to have to be removed! </span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">It is too beautiful of a day to sit here in front of a computer - my baby awaits and so does the wash bucket!</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <i><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Ride like everyone around you is blind and ride with respect...stay safe<br /></span></i><br /> <i><b><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Belt Drive Betty</span></b></i>

Some major decisions made...

Riding Safely....

Happy to be alive

<i><span style="color: #e69138;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">In spite of the challenge ahead of us, both Mark and I are happy to be alive. Yes it's been rough, but it has also shown us how many people care deeply about my husband and have offered their love and support.</span></span></i><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">It is truly at times like these that you realize who your true friends are!</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">I am not hanging up my riding gear or boots but the old schedule needs to be revised until we know where this bout of his MS will bottom out at.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">If it means I miss an event of two, so be it. He is my priority right now.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">I thank my community for stepping up to help me out a bit so that we can keep the news and event information happening.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">I do need some additional help - I need some people who want to do sales. You won't get rich but you will earn enough to buy some great bling for the bike or some extra fuel. The other perks are attending events and the riding!</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">I also need some one in the GP region for office admin. Getting by and getting on with it....

<i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Well my sweet husband has had the last of his steroid treatments and he agreed to give Mila a try!</span></span></i><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <i><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">The high Omega 3 in <a href="http://bdbetty.lifemax.net/">Mila</a> should prove very beneficial to him and will hopefully help him the way it is helping me! He's feeling positive and we have all of the requisite tests scheduled - all except for the neurologist, but that should be done on Tuesday.</span></i><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">It's been 7 1/2 years since the first attack and at the time there was no definitive diagnosis, just a we are 90% sure it's MS. If he has another attack, we should be able to pin it down - well I hope so, because if it is MS, he'll need some specialized drugs to keep it at bay and hopefully slow it's progression down.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Anyone who knows my wonderful husband knows him to be a kind, giving, dedicated man...he's that and more!
